In the event of the Gaza flotilla being stopped reaching Gaza

Having read this article today

Israel’s naval forces are allegedly in training to prepare to seize eight boats scheduled to dock in the Gaza Strip on 24 May from Europe, Arabic-language media reported on Wednesday.

“About half of the Israeli naval forces will participate in an operation that was approved by the cabinet. [Israeli] Defense Minister Ehud Barak will supervise the operation,” an Israeli official told the Arabic-language satellite TV station Al-Hurra. http://www.maannews.net/eng/ViewDetails.aspx?ID=283759

I think it time for some forward planning of our own..

In the event of the Gaza flotilla being stopped by the Israeli navy I would suggest a  email phone and fax bombardmet of Israeli goverment offices and embassies around the world…

A list of contact numbers and email addresses and links to even more can be found here https://tpah.wordpress.com/israeli-goverment-and-embassies-address-phone-numbers-emails/

Further ideas would be also to contact your own goverments and your news media also…

More ways to help

( http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3894766,00.html ) stop the Free Gaza flotilla carrying 10 000 tones of urgent humanitarian supplies Israel has been banning from Gaza, unless we STOP them from doing so.
We need to act URGENTLY:

1 – Schedule protests in your local area. There are already prot…ests scheduled in US and Canada.
2 – Write to your elected officials
3 – Contact the media – translate the Free Gaza press releases and distribute them widely in your lists
4 – Write to EU Foreign Affairs head Catherine Ashton – catherine.ashton@ec.europa.eu

These two websites contain all the information you need to know –
SAVE them in your favorites:

Palestinians in Gaza count on us to break the siege, if we could not join the brave activists on the boat the very least we can do is to urge politicians to uphold international law and stop the Israeli pirates!

Distribute this message widely!

  2. the Israeli government will do nothing they are the ones stating to stop you by force. I have a friend who works for BBC radio as a journalist based in DC iv sent her a message and gave her this page, InshaAllah she will be able to help if its needed

  3. Meena Sharma Says:

Thank you for the info here and we shall so what is needed to get the ships reach their goal.

  4. its time governments around the world imposed severe sanctions against israel, may take time to effect them as their so supported both financially and politically around the world but it would be a start

  5. Are Press TV, RT, and Al Jazeera on the boats with real-time satellite hookups? It is also in the interest of Russia and China to have their satellites watching and recording everything to share when Israel and/or the US lie about events. Of course, there are endless things that could be done, but these are a few of the most apparent. UN observers should be physically on board?

I am adamantly opposed to the Zionist Project (from inception). It was, and remains, an evil concept, not of God. I say this as a firm believer in the message of Jesus Christ, per the Gospels. The idea that “Jews” (an amorphously define group) could only be safe and secure by violently taking Palestine was nonsense from the outset. It wasn’t, and isn’t, the way to win hearts and minds, as they say.

    • Peter I am not sureon these questions…..
      They are excellent suggestions….
I am not sure where the UN stands with this….
But observers would be a very good idea…
In the past when they have takne boats in or attempted to take boats in..
Israel has jammed ocmmunications on the boats

the zionist project was wrong from its very inception…
      I agree with you…
      thank you for your support…:-)

  10. Hi guys

    http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/gr/default.aspx?level0=100

lets hope that their attempt and everybody elses attempt the brake the blocade will be sucessful

  11. Here is an excellent articlein the Palestinian Chronicle that makes soe interesting points and asks some pertinient questions…
    http://ht.ly/1PNA8

Two key points are: 1) the Turkish ship will be flying the Turkish flag; and 2) Turkey is a member of NATO. What might happen if Israel were to attack a Turkish flagged vessel carrying humanitarian aid in international waters? The precedent has been established that an attack on one NATO member state will be viewed as an attack on NATO. How would NATO respond to an Israeli attack on a Turkish flagged vessel? Even if the Turkish ship were not flying its flag, how would the world respond to an attack on unarmed vessels carrying humanitarian aid in international waters?

  12. Asalaam Alaykum Aljazeera has just stated will the members of the flotilla be facing prison in Israel, so be aware that they may arrest you with out charges like they doing the kids in Gaza and keep you there for years

  13. They better not keep anyone for years or even months. They might consider it concerning Arab Palestinians who are not citizens of any other country perhaps. They couldn’t afford the on-going bad press if they were to hold others. Even taking and holding Arab Palestinians for long under these circumstances would be very foolish on the part of the Zionists.

They have no long-term choice but to back down. They’ve lost and will simply be prolonging their coming agony otherwise.

The news is already going to be overwhelmingly anti-Zionist except for the most die-hard Zionist outlets.

The Zionists are already scrambling with nonsense statements such as the blockade is legal and the flotilla violates international law and that the Zionists allow all the humanitarian goods and services that are needed, etc. Huge swathes of the world’s people aren’t buying these lies the way they used to, and the Zionists know it.

    • Yes they should back down but apparently they are not………
It maybe they are going to attack before hte boats event getout of international waters…

      • “At least four Palestinian/Israelis, Free Gaza Movement board director, Lubna Masarwa, Sheik Raed Salah, leader of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, Mohammed Zeidan, Director of International Advocacy Programme for the Arab Association for Human Rights. and Hamed abu Dabis are facing multiple serious criminal offences for their participation in a peaceful voyage to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza.”

        http://www.freegaza.org/en/home/press-releases/1197-everyone-is-not-released

That’s what I suggested above that they’d consider doing. They just believe that the world isn’t going to stand up because supposedly Palestinians aren’t worth the effort.

        They’re wrong.

      • its been na week of hell sorryi did not get back here tom……

  14. From the Jewbonics web site…..

because all we talk about are the boats
My informants send me paraphrases from the Hebrew press, which I paraphrase:

The Masada units, the special anti-riot unit of the Israeli Prison Authority, were given “special permission” to operate outside the borders of Israel [wherever exactly those halcyon entities may be] and against people who are not prisoners. Operation Sky Winds [Have they been consulting Bermudan tourist resorts for naming advice?] may start tonight. The Israeli corsairs may wish to catch the boats before they are able to assemble. They will be blocking electronic transmissions, including satellites from the live coverage and cellphones. Uncle Obama has given the go-ahead. Netanyahu thinks he has “defeated Obama” (my correspondent says this is the Ma’ariv headline) because they are going off for a nice chat in a few days.

There is also more hysteria over the Turkish component. I quote: “Alex Fishman, military commentator of “Yediot Aharonot” who is an unofficial spekesperson for the Israeli Army, says today that this is not really a continuation of the earlier Gaza boats, this is a Turkish plot to open a regular shipping line to Gaza and deprive Israel and Egypt of the monopoly of controlling access to Gaza.” He correctly argues that if the flotilla is let through, Israel will have to give up the siege. As he writes, “This is not about 500 wheelchirs to Gaza, this is about the effective re-establishment of Turkish Imperial Power.” [If only; Ottoman Empire was pretty pleasant as Empires go].

The boats’ passengers are apparently idealistic-but-misguided, but the boats themselves are a Turkish government plot, hence an Islamist plot, hence a terrorist plot, hence a Jihadist plot… [you can go on as you wish with the equivalencies]. When faced with Muslims, you have to pick up a gun, because they (as opposed to Zionists) only understand the language of violence. “Putting Gaza under siege might not be the best policy, but it is the policy which we decided upon and we cannot let the Turks change it for us…We have already lost the PR battle…Since the boats must be stopped anyway, the Navy should try to do is as quickly as possible, to reduce the length of the unfriendly footage.” Greta Berlin adds: “No matter the outcome, we have already won.”

  15. The worrying thing here to me… is the specific use of the “massada units” to operate outside of Israeli territory……
Massada have very special significence to zionist Israel, it has brainwashed its youth and indoctrinated its military on the myth of Massada since the establishment andin the run up to the state of Israel..(until then it was not known much within main stream Judaism.

Massada is the name for a site of ancient palaces and fortifications in the South District of Israel on top of an isolated rock plateau, or horst, on the eastern edge of the Judean Desert overlooking the Dead Sea. After the First Jewish-Roman War a siege of the fortress by troops of the Roman Empire led to the mass suicide of the Sicarii rebels, who preferred death to surrender.(wiki)

And to this day the military still carry out the ritual established by then The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), Moshe Dayan, initiated the practice of holding the swearing-in ceremony of soldiers who have completed their Tironut (IDF basic training) on top of Masada. The ceremony ends with the declaration: “Masada shall not fall again.” The soldiers climb the Snake Path at night and are sworn in with torches lighting the background.

  16. Two days ago on a Facebook link, I replied: “The Freedom Flotilla won’t fire a shot, but they’ll win even if the boats are boarded and the people taken prisoner. Mark my words. I’m right.”

The Israelis/Zionists are going to stop the Flotilla. They are going to hold everyone for a while. This Flotilla is only one effort though.

The immediate question for the Zionists is one of how long do they detain people. They would be fools to hold them for very long (any longer than it would take to process them through and out) or to abuse any of them. The longer it takes, the worse it will look. However, being less strict worries them because it makes them look like they aren’t calling the shots but are afraid and weakening, which they are.

They aren’t used to this situation. They don’t have the upper hand here. They didn’t choose the time or place or set it up. They’re going to have a really difficult time handling it internally.

When I said that they have no choice but to back down, I didn’t mean with this one flotilla but over the course of the next several (if it even takes more than two more) waves of humanitarian efforts that should only grow, possibly exponentially.

    Thanks for the forum.

    Peace!

  17. Thanks for your contributions Tom….. I think you are correct….
